The company console

The company console at roadmap-flow.com/company is where a Team company is administered: people, teams, seats, billing, invitations, audit and settings. It runs in your browser, and no roadmap content is reachable from it.

What it does

The console has eight pages, reached from the left navigation:

  • Overview — plan, seat usage, team and people counts, renewal date.
  • People — invite, assign seats and roles, put people on teams, suspend and remove.
  • Teams — create, rename, staff, archive and restore teams.
  • Seats and billing — seat quantity, subscription, invoices, Stripe portal.
  • Administrators — who administers what, and ownership transfer.
  • Invitations — pending links, resend, revoke.
  • Audit log — every administrative change.
  • Company settings — name, billing contact, default team, seat policy, join codes.

Any active member of your company can sign in. Non-administrators land on Overview and go no further — the other pages are greyed out in the navigation and their endpoints refuse the request on the server.

The Overview page itself is filtered by role. Everyone sees the company name, plan, seat totals, active team count and active people count. Subscription status, billing email, renewal date and billing warnings are shown only to billing administrators. Pending-invitation counts, suspended-people counts and company settings are shown only to people administrators. That is deliberate: the whole point of a separate billing admin role is undone if the one page everybody can open leaks the subscription.

When to use it

  • Somebody joined, left, or moved between teams.
  • You need to know how many seats you are actually using before renewal.
  • An auditor, or your own manager, asks who changed what.
  • You need an invoice PDF.
  • You are handing the company to a colleague.

When not to use it

  • For roadmap work. The console holds membership, roles and seats. Roadmaps stay on people's own computers, and no roadmap content is reachable from a console session.
  • For anything on the Free or Pro plan. There is no company to administer.
  • As a way to see what your team is planning. It is an administrative surface, not a portfolio view. That is the Portfolio tab in the desktop app.

3-minute flow

  1. Open roadmap-flow.com/company in a browser.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft or Google work account.
  3. Read the seat bar on Overview: assigned, reserved, available, purchased.
  4. Open People to see who holds a seat.
  5. Open Audit log and skim the last week.

If you have never been in before, do Getting into the company console first — it covers all the ways in, and the one that does not work yet.

Best use cases

  • A monthly ten-minute pass before renewal: check assigned seats, clear stale invitations, suspend anyone who has left.
  • Onboarding a new starter into the right teams with the right role in one action, before they open the app.
  • Answering "who removed that person?" with a timestamp instead of a guess.

Common mistakes

  • Looking for the console in the desktop app. Company administration is deliberately not duplicated there; the app has one button that opens this console, and one field that redeems an invitation.
  • Assuming a greyed-out navigation item is a bug. It means your role does not reach that page. Ask an administrator, or check Company and team roles.
  • Expecting the seat number to change because you removed someone. It changes what you use; it does not change what you pay until you also change the quantity on Seats and billing.

Availability

Team. The console is a web page — it works in any modern browser and does not require the desktop app. Signing in is optional for Roadmap Flow itself, but it is required for the console.
