What a member sees, and what they do not
If you are not an administrator, the company console still lets you in — it just does not let you far in. This page says exactly how far, so nobody mistakes a role boundary for a broken sign-in.

What you need before starting
- An active membership of a company.
- A Microsoft or Google work account to sign in with.
Step-by-step flow
- Open
roadmap-flow.com/companyand sign in. - You land on Overview.
- The other seven navigation items are greyed out and cannot be opened.
What good looks like
A plain member sees, on Overview:
- The company name and plan.
- Seat totals — assigned, reserved, available, of purchased. "Eight of ten seats used" is useful context and reveals nothing about money or individuals.
- How many active teams and how many active people the company has.
- Their own name and company role in the header.
A plain member does not see:
- Subscription status, billing contact, renewal date or billing warnings. Those are withheld unless you are a billing administrator.
- Pending-invitation counts, suspended-people counts or company settings. Those are withheld unless you can manage people.
- The People list, Teams, Seats and billing, Administrators, Invitations, the Audit log or Company settings.
A team admin who is not a company admin gets one more page: Teams, showing only the teams they run or belong to, and administering only the ones they run.
A billing admin gets Seats and billing and the Audit log — and is refused access to roadmap content even while holding a licensed seat.
None of this is enforced by hiding buttons. Every management endpoint re-checks the role on the server, so a greyed-out page is a summary of a decision that is made again on every request.
What Roadmap Flow knows about you
Worth saying plainly, because it is the question members actually ask. Your company's record holds your membership, your role, your seat and which teams you are on. It does not hold your roadmaps. Roadmap content stays in the workspace folder on your own computer, and nothing in the company console can reach it.
Common traps
- Reading the sign-in screen as a rejection when it is really the "you are not in a company yet" screen. If it greets you by name, sign-in worked.
- Asking an administrator to "give you console access". You have it. What you are asking for is a role — usually company admin, sometimes billing admin, and the two are not the same.
- Expecting the console to show what your team is planning. It never will; that is not what it holds.
